Terms of Service
Please read these terms before using FileKit.
Using FileKit
FileKit provides browser-based tools that compress and optimize files. You may use the free tools with or without an account. By using FileKit you confirm that you have the right to process the files you submit.
Your files and results
You keep all rights to your files. Compression runs on your device, and we do not store your files. Because outputs are not retained, you are responsible for downloading and keeping the compressed result · once the tab is closed the processed file is gone and you will need to compress again.
Compression is lossy for images and video and may change quality. Always keep your originals; FileKit is not responsible for data loss.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Accounts are for a single person and may not be shared.
Acceptable use
Do not use FileKit to process unlawful content, to attempt to bypass technical limits, to probe or attack the service or other users' data, or to run automated bulk workloads that degrade the service for others.
Limits
Individual files are limited to 200 MB, and processing speed depends on your device. Unsupported file types are rejected before processing.
Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. To the extent permitted by law, FileKit is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
